Let me introduce myself to you: I am a professional photographer based in Antwerp, Belgium. For almost 40 years now, photography has been my passion.

It all started when I was fourteen years old. My oldest brother gave me an incredible present: his old reflex camera Nikon F with a very basic 50 mm f 2.8 lens.

My passion for that medium was instantly triggered. Very soon I was asked for small family reportages and the money I made with it I reinvested in better photo equipment.

My professional career however only started in 2007 when I was asked to take pictures in Nürnberg with the Nürnberger Symphoniker Orchestra.

For many years my speciality was jewellery and diamond photography. My biggest pleasure though comes from stage photography: music - theatre - opera - ballet..

And last but not least: black and white portrait photography is the ultimate reward when you may put in image not only a face or a body, but a soul as well.
